OA News: April 14 – May 25, 2014

May 25, 2014  »  NewsNo Comment

Last month, we began compiling a weekly analysis of the top 10 themes of the week in lieu of the aggregated list of African ICT news headlines. After some consideration, we have decided to continue posting the list of headlines sorted by country on a bi-weekly basis in addition to the weekly discussion.

Below is the near-unwieldy backlog of the 370+ stories from the past six weeks; the articles, perspectives, and updates span 44 countries. Kenya leads with 40 and South Africa isn’t far behind with 38. Nigeria is next with 34, followed by Zimbabwe, Egypt, Algeria, Rwanda, Ghana, and Uganda all with ten or greater. Dozens of articles examine broader African tech themes.

Note that hyperlinks are omitted for SEO purposes as there are way more than 100 stories in this post.
